Everyone Should Get Carded

Studies have shown that it will cost most businesses anywhere from $5 to $25 to gain a new client and in some cases even more when you factor in all the time and energy it took to win that new clients business.

Client Preservation

Many businesses and salespeople fail at cultivating existing customers, it is easier and much cheaper to sell and up sell to current customers.  Sending a Greeting Card or a Thank You Card may not seem that important, but showing a small amount of appreciation throughout the year will go a long way in generating sales.  You will also keep your business in and on your client’s mind, so when they are ready to order or reorder you will be the first one they think of.

  • Thank your clients with a Thank you Card for every order.
  • Send your clients a Birthday Card on their birthday.
  • Send your clients a Holiday Seasonal Card.
  • Send two to four “Just Because” cards throughout the year.

Greeting Cards provide a personal touch that an eCard or eMail just can not offer, your business and referrals will increase without question when you send greeting cards.

Supplier Gratitude

Don’t overlook the value of sending a Thank You Greeting Card to your suppliers.  Keeping on good terms with your vendors by sending them an occasional card of appreciation will go a long way when you need to call on them with a special request.  Your vendors will work much harder to pull off the impossible when they know you value and appreciate their efforts.

Business Connections

Networking is key to getting referrals, sending a custom printed card to your business connections keeps you on their minds.  A simple card from time to time “just to say hello” or a motivational card that inspires will continue to build a strong relationship with your business connections, and the referrals will flow in.

Employees

Your business can not succeed without your most valued asset, your employees.  If your employees know you really care about them, they will go the extra mile and work much hard for you.  Sending your employees Birthday Cards and Anniversary Cards should be policy, but throwing in an occasional Thank You Card or other card that touches them will really show that you care about them as a person, not just an employee.

Family And Friends

As the years pass we all seem to get busier and busier, our families and friends are very important to us all – but do they know just how important they are to us.

In most cases they do, but why not send a clear message from time to time offering up some kind words to the most important people in your life.  You will feel great sending off a heartfelt greeting card to someone you love – but image how they will feel when receiving an unexpected card that shows you really care and were thinking of them.

Greeting Cards have been around for centuries and are a great way to market to clients and prospects and let your loved ones know you care.  Statics show that most direct mail pieces get trashed immediately, Greeting Cards are personal and get opened 100% of the time.  You make the recipient feel special when they know you took the time to send them a card.

So use greeting cards to grow your business and show your family and friends you really care about them.
