Send Out Cards has a huge selection of stock holiday cards that can be customized or you can create your own cards very easily. This post is an overview of six steps that will make your holiday card sending a breeze using Send Out Cards.
STEP 1: Make Sure Your Personalized Font and Signatures Are Ready!
Sending holiday cards is a fun and heartwarming experience, adding your very own handwriting and signature makes your cards even more personal. You font and signature is included in the Send Out Cards Entrepreneur and Wholesale packages or retail customers can purchase their own font for $49.00.
It takes 7-10 business days to have your font uploaded to your account after you have submitted the form, so you still have plenty of time before the holidays.
STEP 2: Update Your Send Out Cards Contact Manager!
Making sure your distribution list is up to date and correct is very important. You don’t want to miss anyone or send a card to the wrong address. You can upload a contact list from an excel spreadsheet very quickly and easily. I keep my contacts separated by groups, i.e. Personal Holiday Cards, Business Holiday Cards, etc.
STEP 3: Prepare Quality Holiday Images!
Last year my oldest daughter created out Holiday Card by uploading a family picture with some added graphics. Using the custom card templates that Send Out Cards provides makes this process very easy. Using a template guarantees your images are aligned properly and will print they way you intended them to.
Templates are available that you can use when editing images in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Picture It!, or Gimp:
Bbrowse the FAQ for additional help using images with cards and for PicturePlus training.
STEP 4: Create the Perfect Holiday Card!
You have two options when creating custom holiday card with Send Out Cards. Your first option is PicturePlus.
Another great option is having a custom card created for you by the Send Out Cards Creative Department. Card requests should be submitted by December 5, 2008. For pricing and submission details, visit the Custom Designed Cards page.
STEP 5: Purchase Points and Add to Your Expense Account
Send Out Cards gives you the ability to send Holiday Greeting Cards for far less then cards you would normally purchase at a retail chain. You will need to fund your account with enough points and expense dollars for postage. Without points and expense for postage, your cards won’t make it to the printers and into the mailboxes of your family and friends. Make sure you have enough for the holiday season ahead of time so you can beat the holiday rush.
The average person sends 100 to 150 cards during the holiday season, it is suggested that you add at least 100 points ($31) and $50 in postage to ensure this holiday season runs smoothly when sending your cards this season.
STEP 6: Send Your Holiday Cards Campaign Style!
If you haven’t created a card campaign before, now is the perfect time to find out how it’s done! Now that you’ve followed the first five steps, you now have the perfect card, plenty of points, and all your holiday contacts’ information is loaded into your Send Out Cards account. With a few clicks of the mouse your cards will be sent. This means no more stamp-licking, long lines, or lost hours spent assembling the cards. Send Out Cards does it all for you!
*IMPORTANT: USPS has suggested that holiday cards be sent BEFORE December 15, 2008, in order for them to arrive in your recipients’ mailboxes by December 25.
